Dr Elnaz Shafipour

Postdoctoral Researcher - Interactive Decision Making

Biography:

Elnaz Shafipour is a Research Fellow at the School of Electronics and Computer Science at UoS. She is part of the Citizen-Centric AI Systems (CCAIS) teams. She received her PhD from Lancaster University in September 2021. Her research focuses on AI and Multi-Agent Systems, as well as planning and preference elicitation. In CCAIS project, she is working on a smart application for electric vehicle drivers to plan their charging stops based on their preferences. She received a Postdoctoral Enrichment Award from the Alan Turing Institute in 2022, and she led a project funded by Public Policy (UoS) on electric vehicle charging on long journeys.
