Biography:
Dr Stephanie Gauthier is an Associate Professor in Energy and Buildings at the University of Southampton and a member of the Energy and Climate Change Group. Her research focuses on energy demand in buildings, with a particular emphasis on occupants' behaviour and thermal comfort. She draws on a wide range of methods, from occupant surveys and in-situ environmental monitoring to content, inferential and time-series analysis. Her work bridges building physics and the human side of energy use, supporting the design of low-carbon, occupant-centric buildings.
