Did you know that you only need a few seconds of someone’s voice to impersonate them using AI?

Dr Jennifer Williams, CCAIS academic and leading expert on voice AI and voice deepfakes, was interviewed by BBC presenter Ricky Boleto for Newsround. Dr Williams talked about the ease of producing deepfakes, the risks and dangers of the technology, but also how it could ultimately help people (e.g., those with disabilities) if used responsibly.
